Unlock Long-Term Web Performance Insights with Akamai's mPulse and TrafficPeak
We're excited to introduce a powerful new integration that allows you to analyze your mPulse Real User Monitoring (RUM) data like never before!
With mPulse data now integrated into Akamai TrafficPeak, you can store and view performance data across longer time windows (queries larger than 30 days, with data storage beyond 13 months), and run custom queries to uncover deeper insights into your digital experience.
Why This Matters
Understanding long-term web performance trends is critical for optimizing user experiences, improving site speed, and driving business results. However, traditional RUM solutions have limitations on data retention and custom reporting.
By integrating mPulse with TrafficPeak, you can:
- View Broader Trend Analyses: See mPulse data in greater than 30 day time periods to analyze broader trends, and retain data in TrafficPeak for longer than 13 months (if desired).
- Run Custom Queries: Use TrafficPeak's flexible query engine for detailed insights specific to your business, and present data using industry-standard visualizations within Grafana.
- Correlate Web Performance w/ Business KPIs: Unlock new performance optimization opportunities by correlating mPulse's data with other Akamai data sources.
mPulse's TrafficPeak integration is optional for all mPulse Enterprise customers, and can be used in a complementary way to your existing analytics workflows.
TrafficPeak is not replacing the mPulse UI, but can provide customers familiar with tools like Grafana an alternative way of querying performance data and presenting customized dashboards.
